Holy Week 2023
Those in Arlington who wish to worship in the “older form” this Holy Week will have to travel outside of the immediate area. See below for a helpful Good Friday transit option provided by the Arlington Latin Mass Society.
Diocese of Arlington
Per the current policy in the Arlington Diocese, no celebrations according to the 1962 Missale Romanum are allowed during Holy Week and the Sacred Triduum. All normally scheduled weekday Masses are cancelled and no traditional Holy Thursday, Good Friday, or Easter Vigil services will be held.
Archdiocese of Washington, DC
Current policy allows no weekday TLMs at any time, and specifically prohibits them on the Triduum and Easter Sunday (as well as Christmas and Pentecost).
